Dr Fleur Castlereagh



Hi Everyone,

I'm Fleur, a Chiropractic Doctor, Pilates Instructor and Fitness Trainer. I am passionate about teaching people how to prevent back pain so that they can live a happy and healthy life. By educating and inspiring people to take care of their spine, I help them become pain free.

My passion for health and sport began when I was a teenager and realised I loved to run and jump. I took up athletics and basketball. Unfortunately, at the age of 13, I suffered a painful back injury and experienced several months of chronic back pain. During this time, I became tired and frustrated, as resting my back and various treatment modalities were not working. Eventually, several months of specialised treatment and rehabilitation resulted in a pain free back and I was able to train again.

From then on, I developed an interest in back care and went on to study Science at university and then Chiropractic. During that time, I trained extensively for Heptathlon and suffered another back injury; a lumbar stress fracture. The pain was debilitating and I could hardly move, let alone train at the level that I was used to. I became really stressed and I felt like there was no way that my body would ever recover from the injury.

After several months of treatment and rehabilitation, including extensive Pilates training, I started to progress slowly. Thankfully, I made a full recovery and began competing in long-jump at State competitions and National level- something I thought I would never be able to do again.

Eventually I retired from competition to focus on helping other back pain sufferers and have continued to do this over the past 16 years. My experience as an Athlete, Chiropractor and Pilates Instructor has enabled me to treat back injuries with a unique approach and to develop my successful and comprehensive back care program, Bliss Body.

The eCourse covers Pilates, Posture and Back Pain Prevention as I believe that these are the keys to avoiding pain and staying active as you age. Bliss Body covers every aspect of back care and back pain prevention that I have used myself and that I teach patients in practice.
